As The Sun Sets Poem by Anna Moriarty Lev

As The Sun Sets

Rating: 4.0

As the sun sets outside my big window
it hangs on the edge of the rooftops
and lingers orange there
with blue the color of your shirt that night
bringing out the stars
and slowly swallowing up
the orange
and soon it will all have become
black.
