As Time Passes

More then ever, time is running away!
And it feels a little scary, as it marches
on it's way. I've not paid much attention
how quickly time has flown, but looking
at my children, I can see how much
they've grown. Somehow, for some
reason, time is going faster then it ever
did. It didn't seem that way to me, when
I was just a kid! Perhaps when you get
older, you become aware of it all the more.
Or could it be, you just never gave, any
thought to it before? I guess when you're
young, you think about so many different
things. Who ever gave tomorrow a
thought, or what it brings? Since we can't
turn back the clock, we'll just have to forge
ahead. By letting ourselves, take one day
at a time, instead!
