Asari Dokubo -By Okoemu Barnabas Poem by Okoemu Barnabas

Asari Dokubo -By Okoemu Barnabas

The warrior I once knew
Who fought with sweat and blood
Not for himself,
But in defence of his people
Won the admiration of men and women
And children inclusive,
The man who fought two C-in-Cs
A regular guest to prison wall
I so admired Asari Dokubo
As do we all,
Little did a tribe's man ascend,
And all came rather clear
How tribalistic you are,
Ceased to fight,
Even when now is the most time to fight.
Do or die,
Your brother must return!
So you brag and threaten hell
Forgetting the masses you once love
And care for!
Oh! Now we know who the real revolutionary is.

*sigh* In just a little while, we will see that the tongue twist to touch the teeth till the tongue bites itself...
