Ask 10: Eluding Seduction, Poem by David Lacey

Ask 10: Eluding Seduction,

I could never forget you,
In every life I’ve seen you’ve been
Eluding seduction,
Beckoning desire in temptation.

I can feel frustration kicking in,
Your my addiction, no more no less,
Undress beyond a wall of sleep the
Images kept, etchings upon the soul.
It’s this that makes us whole
within boundaries set in stone

Get your head clear, I know it’s hard blinded by fear,
That it might not be the way you perceive it
Reality can be deceiving, daunting at the best of times
Just keep on moving, conceiving
Embryonic tides, lost in sweet emotion
Ride a wave of passion, Crash upon an isolated beach
Out of touch,
Out of reach
