At Last Liberation Beckons From The Jail Poem by Mohammad Younus

At Last Liberation Beckons From The Jail

At last, liberation beckons from the jail,
The sages' prison known as nafs, frail.
My erratic thoughts, relentless as hangmen's wail,
Shan't slaughter my righteous soul, nor prevail.

No longer enslaved to fleeting motivation's tale,
Nor ensnared by nafs' deadly temptations' veil.
On my spiritual path, I shall never derail,
Guided by divine intelligence, without fail.

Troubles quelled, by intervention divine,
Naught else matters, but the authentic smile I shine.
A rainbow unfurls, as the rain's decline,
Signaling peace, and a soul's resolute incline.
