At Least You'Re Happy Poem by Emma Woods

At Least You'Re Happy

Alone I fall while you dance and sing
And I remember what you said to me
And the things we did and do together
Did I take them all in the wrong way?

Will you join me in this fall?

I don't feel anger - I don't eel pain
I don't feel jealousy - but I remain
I remain the one they always cry to
I remain the one who they don't listen to

Don't feel sympathy for me

Don't change anything for me my dear
When all I want is for your happiness
All I want is to see you smile and mean it
And mean it when you say everything's ok

Don't say it if it's not true

Buut one thing I ask if your happiness is not with me
One thing I ask is don't abandon me
I'd never do anything to make you hurt
So please don't leave me even if you don't feel the same at heart

If we fall please hold my hand

If we fall please hold my hand

Again, just lovely, heartfelt and bursting with emotion - a great poem. So sad yet we all have experienced relationships like this. Another great one!
