At My Lowest Point Poem by Matt Starking

At My Lowest Point

When worries come a-knocking
And my heart starts to pound
I take a deep breath in
And let them all out

I tell myself it's just a feeling
And it won't last forever
I'll take it one step at a time
And it will all get better

I'll focus on the positives
And count my lucky stars
I'll take it one day at a time
And soon enough I'll be far

From the worries that once held me back
And the fear that once made me freeze
I'll keep on pushing forward
And I'll find my inner peace
