At Nature's Crest - Poem by Paul Amrod
Exemplifying gracious benevolence we exercise an exhibition
of exquisite etchings illustrating a scenario of serenity.
Portraying peaceful pastoral images and a symphony of birdsong
the idyllic setting dulcifies with its sweetness and its spontaneity.
Receptiveness to the atmospheric implications will incite the fruition
of splendid and beneficial incentives which resolve and prolong
a creative spin emanating a remarkably statuesque totality.
As the newly conceived image reigns the heavenly landscape
we stipulate renditions of contrapuntal phrases in their entirety.
Instances of mystical revelations stupefy the phenomenologists
which existentially disregard the profundity of spiritual escape.
In a baroque environment of endless variation and variability
we reestablish the accordance of contrast and incidental twists.
Languidly drifting through the tranquilizing ambiance we elaborate
with paraphrases transcribing a lilting limerick with a soliloquy.
The rushing mountain streams gush forth turbulently to celebrate
the fortitude of Nature’s fervor as it balances while we coexist.
Hearing the soothing melodious and rhythmical progression reshape
our perception as a gardens of dreams wakens our brethrens’ verbosity.
Dancing in circles their poetical continuance brings us to integrate
their fascinating adoration of each flower bed as each petal is kissed.
As the seeds deep beneath the surface proceed with curiosity
the regeneration of their origins is marvelously beginning to germinate.
As our earthly travels induce the angles of solar incandescence
to engender the vernal season the blossoms protrude forth in singularity.
Exceeding the pinnacle of heaven’s umbrella the prismatic rays illuminate
the twilight of summer with its rippling waves of polychromatic iridescence.
On the crest of the sitting virgin we enter the phase of autumn’s inception
alluding the wintry gusts of another angle of crystal beams with their charity.
Easing with the gliding goat we exceed the fears of the Neanderthals’ vision
and rejoice with the aurora borealis as the eventide returns in coalescence.
Glimmering prospects toward an equinox has reunited our expectant positivity
as we revel in our consciousness to beautify with gratefulness our conception.
