At The Cloud's End Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

At The Cloud's End

At the cloud's end weeping moon hides
Her tears of the night from me
I beneath sleeps a night with nothing to share
The heart is troubled with
Remembering the days of love
Its sweetness hides in deep
In an unwanted book of past
That has been thrown in to the dark
The hope for the better tomorrow
With a new chapter in life
To tune the tones of youth
In a bed of summer roses and lilies
Before the coming winter gales
From the darkest lands of north
I want to share my dance under the
glittering summer sun shine.
