At The Top Of Air Pollution Poem by Jinnuraine Jaigirdar

At The Top Of Air Pollution

The star is at the top of air pollution,
Paragon of beauty, Dhaka is in a dusty revolution;
Millions of vehicles are moving on the highway,
The air is covered by smoke, black moat in the doorway;
Carbon footprints are constantly being drawn,
Red and green flags are covered in the foggy lawn;
The sight is dim, the wings of stork fluttering on the horizon,
Lives survive in daylight sunk in deep dark Orion.

The thread of breathing is stuck in the brick field,
Dust grains are flying in the sky creating a shield;
Rows of tree leaves injured by urbanization,
Chlorophylls suffer from contraction, the source of oxygen in limitation,
Row upon row of new blocks of carbon dioxide in the horizon,
The wonderful code of enchanted life is slowly getting concession.
