Aunt Theo's Cactus Poem by Marilyn Lott

Aunt Theo's Cactus

Rating: 4.5

I remember a huge bowl of them by her door
The orange was as brilliant as fire
I could sit and gaze at them forever
For their amazing look I can never tire.

And when she died her brother asked me
If I would like it, I would not have to fuss
They take little water and take care of themselves
I told him I would love Aunt Theo's Cactus.
