Autumn Leaves Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Autumn Leaves

Rating: 4.3

Before we fall
from the haughty trees,
Please, look at us!
We are the intricate design
of a great forest that
on brisk Autumn Days
make a wilderness
of enchanting colors.
A yearly ritual
when we are displayed
all gently and proudly
before winter's way.
We pause, that you
our beauty see,
Gape, and we begin
to fall intermittently.
