Autumn Leaves, A Hill Of Gold Poem by Mohammad Younus

Autumn Leaves, A Hill Of Gold

Autumn leaves, a hill of gold,
Flourishing in the sun's soft hold,
Before winter's chilling embrace.
The trees stand tall,
Shedding their leaves,
Changing their dress,
Preparing for spring.

The wind whispers secrets,
Passing through the branches,
Stirring the leaves that fall slow,
A rustling sound, known only
To a music lover's ear.
The earthy scent of leaves that lie—
A reminder that life is not dying,
And the cycle of life goes by.
