Autumn Leaves Bonfire Lit Blaze Light Up Night Sky Poem by Terence George Craddock

Autumn Leaves Bonfire Lit Blaze Light Up Night Sky

Rating: 5.0

many great writers poets artists walk this world
leaves time colours changing falling autumn leaves
glorious colours crisp air dress light fading autumn trees
gather up armfuls of wonder fallen autumn leaf lives
throw joyous into autumn air watch leaves fall litter ground
at night if you like as darkness silent comes creeping
gather up armfuls of dark shadow leaves built a bonfire
later much later when deepest darkness silent has fallen

when myriads of diamond stars twinkle in starlight night
light a bonfire in tribute to countless writers poets artists
let the blaze of their glory burning thrill light up night sky
artists may become season timeless pages of burning leaves

burning leaves burning
in iron torch beacon
embedded in the rocks

leaves burning in autumn darkness
cannot illuminate beach countless
wind swept sands hidden in darkness
