Awake, You Sleepers! Rise From The Dead Poem by Mohammad Younus

Awake, You Sleepers! Rise From The Dead

Awake, you sleepers! Rise from the dead,
Why slumber while God's light still spreads?
Through night and day, His radiance streams,
A silent call to wake from dreams.

You live because His light sustains,
A flame eternal, boundless grace.
Through every age, He sends His guides,
To lift you from death's shadowed tides.

O heed the call of the Gracious One,
Who bids you rise, His will be done.
Beware the snares of the lower self,
Lest you be trapped in dust's dark shelf.

Be wise—embrace the path of knowing,
Discern the will of the All-Knowing.
Shun the wine of ego's sway,
That dims the light and leads astray.

Instead, be filled with Spirit divine,
Open your soul to His breath, His sign.
For those who seek in truth and love,
Shall walk the path of the Gnostics' trove.

He speaks not in psalms alone,
But in the hush where truths are sown—
A song unsung, yet deeply known,
A wisdom in the light's soft tone.

The flame of life from the sun descends,
His presence in you never ends.
Sing, then, with melodies pure and true,
A hymn of thanks, a heart renewed.

For ever He creates, anew,
Revealing Himself in all you view.
Blessed are those who see His signs—
Telling, I am the truth: I am the Divine.
