Awesomeness Poem by Dorsey Baker

Awesomeness

He clothed her
with his exposure
nakedness would not
allow itself such
infidelity and shame
she ran
into the woods
the rain fell and she
draped herself in
its soft velvet skin
he followed slowly
wearing only
her sweet moist kiss
and the satin scent
of her hair
he licked the envelope
and mailed it
back to himself
