And tell me why
They hide their pain
Behind their quiet eyes
When all we want to do
Is hold fast to what we know
And dare to not let go
To envision what we dream
And forget how to scream
Because burning
Is harder than it looks
And agony
Is too commonplace for them
So why
Why do we even try?
When all they want to do,
Is die
Pounding through their veins
I know, I understand their pain
The dark corner
Of bitter ends and truth
They’ll always hide
Yet are so afraid to lose
What they have never gained
Leaving them, all understandably, sane
Get down
You have to meet at eyelevel
Because all around
The voices are pressing hard
…
And burning,
Is harder then it looks
Powerful piece, garnished with verve and abstractivity....befitting language Well crafted woek, Dawn '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''FJR
