B: Xxxiiii: Baudelaire Pariah - Poem by Douglas Scotney

I have seen myself reflected
In a sky
Of vast and gloomy shadows,
All my hopes and dreams;

Of rays of light,
All my heart's desires,

Pleasures-amongst-stifled-dreams,
Threatened by the clouds,
Made taboo
By what society deems.
