Backpack Poem by Ellen Shaw

Backpack

Rating: 4.5

Night time under a mosquito net
Hidden from the world
Big, strong, brave
She's just a little girl
Backpack at the foot of her bed
Flash light under her pillow
Whichever way the wind blows
Is the route that she will follow
