Man thinks, ne'er is on top of hill,
Nor smart ‘nough sundry bugs to kill,
And mute, pays price by falling ill,
May be, the bugs are smarter still.
Bacteria have no rockets shot,
Nor any tech-skills ever sought,
Nor yet any world-wide wars fought,
Poor souls, may not know what is what.
But if and when Sun sets one day,
Never to rise ‘gain Hi to say,
Bugs still shall be there in full fray,
Such versatile be their plain way.
Because Earth's more of their planet,
And O man you're here for they let.

Even before man's advent on the Earth, there have been innumerable bacteria. Human life evolved out of unicellular bacteria through the span of eons. But man thinks that he is the monarch of the Earth! Man forgets that he is at the mercy of bacteria in one way or the other. But we look at bacteria with dread! A great write!
