Bad Luck Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Bad Luck

“I must die early”
I thought of ending life quickly
As I was dejected by family
I was down in their eyes mainly

It was difficult to meet two ends
How long I could expect help from friends?
The luck was not favoring
With frustration, I was just exploring

No one really realized about my tension
I was leading life with confusion
Wherever I laid hand with hope
I failed and flopped

Children do expect from parents
Parent too wants their demands be met
But finance becomes hurdle
Here starts beginning of trouble

Man is driven to corner
He wants to be happier
But hopes fad away
As bad luck is going to stay
