Rating: 5.0

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I live in Kotha, A village in SriGanganagar(Rajasthan) which shares its outskirts with Punjab and Pakistan. This poem is a part from poet's countryside poetry written in Punjabi, Hindi and English in the fields of the countryside. The picture given below is the picture of Reddcliffe Line, A 'line of curse', because it has destroyed not only unity of undivided India but also the hearts and culture. But love beyond religion makes the difference. This poem is a NAGGENA of love for nature and the neighbour.

A lovely piece of poetry. Being a native of a border village has its advantage as well as disadvantage for the residents. But birds do not recognise any restrictions on cross-border movements between two countries. You have a very mature style of writing, Jagdish ji. Thanks for sharing the poem, providing transcript and fairly detailed Notes. The picture adds to its classic value.
