Banalata Sen of Natore, Rajshahi?

Was she a princess,
A romantic love
Or an imaginary girl?

Who,
Who was she Banalata Sen,
The dream girl of the poet?

Whose imagination is this,
Whose imagination in it,
Who the unidentified girl?

Definitely a Calcuttan strange girl
Would have in the tram
Or one from Rajshahi?

What the myth,
How the mystery around,
What the secret around the beauty?

Unveiling it not,
Shrouding with mystery,
Just silhouetting and escaping from.
