Banyan tree

We are growing as family
With the blessings from an almighty
We started from stretch
And now could reach at this level

It is our desire
To reach still higher
Touch the sky
With all earnest try

Poets from all over the world
And other dignitaries hold
Same opinion as we do
But some ordeal has to be passed through

We shall feel happiness
When whole fraternity comes under giant tree
That day is not far
When we shall sing "world is near"

Poverty has no face
We need to make trace or access
To reach each soul
And give humanitarian call

There may be some misunderstanding
But believe me, the efforts should be unending
I see the bright hope on horizon
It is our duty to probe and look on
