Battle:

Lonely days and lonely nights,
Filled with bitterness, frustrations and fights;
My mind is spinning like a carousel
Inside theres a fight, that’s bloody as hell.

A fight between the man I know I wish to be,
And the one who has emerged as the enemy.
The one who wants to take, control of all he sees’,
And bring my life down crashing, to its’ bitter knees.

But the man I wish to be,
is much stronger then you can see;
For his strength comes from above,
And his might comes from the power of love.

Even though there is a battle, that rages on in my mind,
I know that I am not alone, and the bitter one I can bind.
For the power of love is greater then hate, no matter what you say,
And I have chosen to walk in love, today and everyday.
