Be Fair Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Be Fair

Be fair

Let us walk the moonwalk, or backward
Back in time.

New lands, as were called by Europe,
Discovered.

And why so?
And what then?

There were wars and hunger.
Migrants went and landed; looted, killed
Also raped.

Then wrote notes.
And called it history; as correct, which wasn’t.
And grew the science, as claimed.

Same is now.
Wars, hunger, displaced and migrate
But imposed and victims are hunted, or capsized.

Sound the same?
Sort of yes.
