Be Kind Poem by Randy McClave

Be Kind

If you never walked in their shoes
If you do not know their dues,
Don't treat them with a simple mind
Be kind.

If you are lashed at with a forked tongue
If profanity comes quickly from their lung,
Remember, unto evil we should not bind
Be kind.

Treat everyone with fairness and respect
The way you gift is the way you reflect,
By love we all are designed
Be kind.

If they are seeking help from you
Remember what you should think and do,
Close your eyes and listen as if you were blind
Be kind.

Treat everyone the best that you can
Whether they be rich or poor, woman or man,
That is how we all will be defined
Be kind.

Kindness is the absence of malice
Spoke the true king from his heavenly palace,
God had never left no-one behind
Be kind.
