Be Still—to See The Thread Of Creation Poem by Mohammad Younus

Be Still—to See The Thread Of Creation

Be still— to see the thread of creation
in the silence before the first word,
where no name is spoken,
where the Creator exists,
untainted by the veil of form.

Then step into the dance—
the myriad faces of creation,
each carrying the imprint of the One,
each a mirror, reflecting
the infinite light of the unseen.

See the thread—
woven through earth and skies,
whispering through your breath
and the cosmos' pulse.

It binds the stars to the sky,
the bird in the air to soar and glide,
the continents in their position,
aligned until the command
Kun! Comes from above,
your heart aligns with the eternal rhythm.

Dissolve—
in the oneness that has no edges.
See the thread.
See the whole.
