Truly in life trust is necessary.
Some people you deem worthy of holding much more trust,
And others you keep at bay.
Be wary who you trust with your heart.
Many will whisper and smile to you,
But you must see through to their hearts.
Only a grown heart is strong enough to share the burden of another’s heart.
Yet some people don’t understand this fact.
The heart can love past that of another,
And when that happens there is a want for the other person to grow,
And when that person doesn’t grow you are left empty.
Empty as you realize your heart is not longer compatible with your counterpart.
And when you let your heart untwine from theirs,
You will always think one last time about your decision.
But don’t turn your head back.
Press on and let your heart find home again.
Because home truly is where the heart is.
