When the world pressures you,
Learn to be yourself.
When the society mocks you,
Learn to stand for yourself.
Humiliation, embarrassment,
I've been through them all,
I once believed I was worthless,
Pretended that I was fine with all the jokes,
I carved a smile on my face,
But it's just a mask that they didn't know.
At one point in life, I lifted myself up.
I made a change for myself,
All the sweats, all the pains,
That only I knew how hurtful it was.
But now, I let you know,
That what I did was all for myself.
Your mean words were nothing,
My mind was stronger than anything,
I am more powerful than you think.
It doesn't matter what people think.
We are who we are.
Do not change for other people.
Do not try to please them.
Just believe in yourself.
But now i let you know! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.

Great advice: just be yourself. You really can't be anyone else anyway. This appears to be your first poem on this site, so welcome to Poem Hunter!
