Beast Of Burden Poem by Brooke Renwick

Beast Of Burden

Rating: 4.3

He has a burden for her now -
She caught wind of it some how -
Her subdued repose astounds -
Her inner cry the only sound : -(

If I could bottle her inner peace.
I could put the boss's mind at ease.
His grimaced angle would but cease
he'd retire her to green grass to feast.
