Beaucoup Et Plein

Une belle mort
tire la fin,
mais bien sûr,
avec beaucoup de beauté;
une sans-belle mort
la tire avec laideur,
est sans doute
plein d'hideur.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A natural death
pulls off the end,
of course,
with a lot of beauty;
an unnatural out
pulls it off with ugliness,
is full of hideousness,
without doubt.
