Beautified In The Final Weighing Of The Soul Poem by Terence George Craddock

Beautified In The Final Weighing Of The Soul

Rating: 5.0

survival animal at any cost
falling from cliff top height
to break broken crushed lost
was not humanities destiny

humanity aspires to arise free
abhors starvation death cruelty
we ask not for life but more
pain disease mortality we abhor

mere life among ashes dregs
is not enough absolution from tears
fears the trauma of bitter life

is sought in hope beyond life
beyond the grave a promise made hopefully
to ultimately be purified perfect eternally

made beautified in the final weighing of the soul
