Priceless were those beautiful days
Peaceful days, full of craze
Days when every yard was our's
And every path was full of flowers
When we could make and get to play
With the beautiful toys of clay
Ah, I remember how I once ran
After that gorgeous candy woman
With a single penny in my hand
On that wet and muddy land
Dropping the penny on my way
I couldn't buy that pinky hay
But that kind and generous honey
Gave me a candy free of money
I was happy upto the skies
Returned home chasing butterflies
Priceless were those beautiful days
Peaceful days, full of craze
Days when we could get to play
In the open fields we could lay
Bathing our tiny selves in sun
In the rains we could have fun
Ah, I remember when I once had
A beautiful doll brought by my dad
She had curly and golden hair
And a gown with bottom flare
I wanted a gown of that fairy
On the occasion when I marry
Priceless were those beautiful days
Peaceful days, full of craze
