The most beautiful prayer
that my friend prayed for me
he opened up his heart and let me share
his feelings on the situation at hand
He knew my body was in despair
how I had never heard
such a beautiful prayer

It was so unselfish and concerned
not about himself but about others
the wellbeing of his friends
and anything he could do to repair
what was left of the problem at hand
and at the same time
he let bear his soul and implored for help
and our hearts entwined with understanding
it was the most beautiful prayer

He himself was trembling
for in his prayer he was supplicating
tears fell from my eyes
because I never knew someone cared
I finally knew I wasnt alone
after he prayed this beautiful prayer
