our friendship was like a rose
so rosy and cloudy we could hardly see
smells good, kisses were like honey upon we lips
never to let go, crushing unto us everyday
tangled in love, like we do dance tango.

i became a poet for love
never knew i was, but for the way i felt i wrote
every words flows freely within my head
yes! i was in love with who?
the most beautified lady i have never seen
beyond her physique came an exceptional character.

her very words encouraged me
when i fall, when i fail, when i fear
within my heart, echoes again her words "do not worry yourself"
every friday, everyday we met, became a thousand years
to live by, air of smiles and emotions
imaginations, fantasies, ecstasies became real.

hours, days, weeks, months, her absence was felt
turned i from forest to desert
like the fish on land became i, grasping for breath.
my worst fear became my best friend
loneliness became my companion
my lovely dreams turned to a nightmare.

where is thou love? pondered i in my head
(soft words)am i her keeper? saith i.

(stuttering speech with tears)she has left! she has left! ! with a bro?
naught a word, naught a bye...
naught with a kiss...of betrayal

the stings of death
the jaws of death has swallowed my beloveth
