" Hate for hideous face, No thought for fine grace, But beauty be if there's beast." lovely expression giving caution to those blind adorers of beauty

Thank you dear poet. Providence has made this world full of dancing dual's. The dual as such seems meaningful, not its polar-dwelling cousins. Beauty is no beauty without the beast inasmuch as day has no meaning without night, pain without pleasure and so on. I blame poets here. How many have written about thorns? How many on rose?

Of course, a very thoughtful poem about a man's fascination of flowers and indifference to thorns. Thanks for sharing.
