Beauty In Your Body, Or Happy In Your Soul?
Staying young and looking young,
Is not always a boon,
Life is going, it is true,
But we grow in spirit with it too.
Our soul will always live,
Being young forever,
Body is only a soul transporter,
To experience life on Planet.
Is it matter hair is grey, or colored
When you experience it all,
What is the meaning of your life,
Beauty in your body or happy in your soul?
Shall we celebrate our ugly old age? I like the word boon, I have never come across it before. Ugly old age is the new boon. Nice poem 10/10
The ever probing question of mankind is easily solved in your musical poem by establishing the supremacy of soul over body in a most intelligent way. Thanks for sharing such a nice poem.
A very short opinion that is oft quoted- BEAUTY STRIKES THE SIGHT, BUT MERIT WINS THE SOUL..physics is not so important in love and life, rather it is metaphysics that is valuable..BODY DECAYS AND DIES, SOUL LIVES FOR ETERNITY..TRUE BEAUTY IS INNATE..THE RESIDENT OF SOUL...BODY OR OUTER BEAUTY IS JUST AN ILLUSION THAT IS SHORT-LIVED..
