I woke up into an amazing scene,
something about the stars
and the hope they beam;
Countless candles lit the way
and every one, every flame,
burnt with one desire: -
To speak your name.

In every shine of every star
lives the beauty of your eyes,
which I recalled each time
they lay close to mine;
Breathing flowers, their singing hues,
are preludes to thoughts
that serve only to seek you.

The rain laid gently onto the trees,
whose gift was to bring them peace;
Your gift was that of rest,
your gift exposed my best.
If I should never see you again,
either in sun or in rain,
no matter the distance and time apart,
all my thoughts shall seek your heart.
