Sometimes I Wake Up
Tired & Drained
Or Maybe Feeling Some Ache
Stress Or Strain

But In Prayer, Something Happens
Hard To Explain
Its Like Peace, Joy & Love
Flowed In Gentle Rains

and I Get That Burst of Energy
I Get That Lift
I Get Some Kind of Wonderful
Ribbon-Wrapped Gift

and I Feel Like A Child
Who Laughs, Plays & Skips
In The Sunshine -
With Songs On My Lips...


GOD... YOUR Power Lives!
GOD... YOUR Power Gives
GOD... YOUR Power LIfts
GOD... YOUR Power Does This

... Because GOD - - Really Is


The Power of GOD
Is So Impressive
It Brings Freedom
& Keeps Faith Festive

And Soon People Won't 'Need'
Drugs Nor Sedatives
For The Power of GOD
Is Naturally-High & Restive

And Soon One Day All
Will Feel This Good The Same
Beautiful & Loved
& Freed From Death & Pain

For GOD's Power Will Cure
The Blind, Deaf & Lame
While We Hallelujah -
Praise JAH's Holy Name! ...

Jesus Christ, YOUR Greatest Gift
Has Proven That 'YOU' Really Exists! ...


Oh! That Holy Spirit Power of HIS!
