Because Of Don Poem by Randy McClave

Because Of Don

Whose going to pick our tomatoes
Whose going to pick our potatoes,
When all the Hispanic workers are all gone
All because of Don.

Whose going to work on our roofs
Whose going to maintain our animals hoofs,
No one is going to work and maintain my lawn
Because of Don.

Whose going to work less than minimum wage
Who against that low pay won't rage,
And who's going to reciprocate those lost taxes from day one
No one because of Don.

Whose going to work in the sweltering heat
So, that I and others might have our treat,
And whose going to replace that work ethnic and brawn
No one because of Don.

Whose going to replace what we're going to lose
Whose going to replace their dues,
Who else can we use or can treat or con
No one, because of Don.
