Becoming Like You Poem by Randy McClave

Becoming Like You

Your children will hate the Government
And it's all because of you,
They read what you print, hear what you say
As they closely watch everything that you do.
When you condemn others for their truth
And exalt and praise others for their lies
That will become truths and building stones to them
One day that fact you will sadly realize.
Your children will then not obey the laws
They will call them lies or unjust and full of woe,
And the next thing that you see and hear
Is how the government they want to overthrow.
They watch the people that you follow
Your mind and beliefs is now also theirs,
They now walk in your crooked footsteps
Your thoughts now become all of their prayers.
All children are pieces of molding clay
As they watch their parents smoke and also drink,
And when they hear them curse and judge
They become just like them, now think.
When children are in your environment
They listen and read and watch who you are,
They hate others not at all like you
You have became their leader, their role model, their tsar.
You tell them Covid wasn't dangerous or a virus
And all that it is, is just the flu,
So, you mocked those who wear a mask or got a vaccine
That's how your children became just like you.
