All human children please take heed,
We honey bees mean you no harm.
Though we have stingers, yes indeed,
We only sting when in alarm.
If leave us be, then children know
We will just go about the job
Of visiting flowers that grow
For nectar and pollen, a gob
To take back with us to the hive,
Dropping pollen along the way
To help more flowers grow and thrive.
We be busy all through the day.
We bees be in a buzz, we be,
Head home to hive to hatch honey.
