Before I Go Elsewhere Poem by john (called jack) wren

Before I Go Elsewhere

Landlord, please fill it up again
I'll have one more for the road,
Before I wander to pastures new
And another happy abode.
I've only had five or six
And the night has just begun,
So landlord, fill it up again
And join me when your done.
You serve the choicest ale, and
Your company brings good cheer,
So I think I'll sample another
Of your delicious beer.
What's happened to my thoughts
They're swirling in the air
I'd better have another one
Before I go elsewhere!
