Belle Of The Ball pansy (Violaceae) Poem by john (called jack) wren

Belle Of The Ball pansy (Violaceae)

When she flashes a smile
I'm held in a trance
and can't take my eyes
off this fair countenance

Her make up is perfect
the powder supreme
with rouge on her cheeks
she's all peaches and cream

Her display is outrageous
for one so small
this sweet Cinderella
is the Belle of the ball

And like her Prince Charming
she's captured my heart
as she lies in the border
a Pure work of art.
