Before the shadows go
and morning starts,
before the conscious know
each love in hearts.
Dreams will on dance
and give its steps way,
follow their chance
and in the night play…

Before everything is done
and the day is no more,
the years will still go on
to its upcoming shore.
For the lot is to come
and make its destiny,
where time is all from
and each step is to be.

Before we are through
With each our season,
And there is none to do
For any given reason.
Hopes rise and make
What promise will find,
For that is what it'll take
To bring a different mind.
