Before the soft glow of dawn,
Before cockcrow, the Muazzin calls,
Urging us to rise from stillness,
And stand for the Tahajud Salah—
the night prayers.
When divine sounds ring crystal-clear,
As birds take flight to greet the day,
And divine light beams, illuminating
The darkest corners,
Welcoming morning's blessings.
I stand on the sacred Mussalla,
In the room of the heart—a safe haven,
In cool joy—absorbed in golden vision.
The night's shades dim and fade,
And I shout in high exuberance—the sun is rising.
As I lay, immersed in meditation,
Stars bright emerge from within me,
An aura of holy light upon my head,
Guiding me on a path of hope—
Bright, clear, and pure.
My smile now immortal.
A seeker of spiritual life,
I sacrifice worldly pleasures without remorse,
To gain in abundance knowledge and wisdom,
And share joyfully with true seekers—
of rare pearls,
Spreading knowledge and wisdom—
Connecting lovers to the divine.
With each beaming smile on my face,
With each drop of my joyful tears,
Each ecstatic hope from my dancing soul,
Each warm embrace, with genuine music,
The divine light in my heart.
And I say, "Thank you, my Lord."
Thank you, my Lord!
Thank you, my Lord!
Till eternity, I will say,
Thank you, my Lord.
