Before You Go To Bed Poem by Randy McClave

Before You Go To Bed

Before you go to bed
Before you lay down your head,
And before you brush your teeth
This I do bequeath.
Remember how your day had went
Should you be happy or maybe repent,
Did you cause anyone to shed a tear
Did you bring someone sadness or fear.
This I say with all truth and care
Did you break a promise or did you swear,
And before you go to sleep
Did you cause someone to weep.
Is someone going to toss and turn
Is someones heart going to burn,
Remembering what you had done
Was it for suffering or just for fun.
Before you get undressed
Think should you really feel blessed,
Before your prayers are said
Before you go to bed.
