Begin Where We Are Poem by Mohammad Younus

Begin Where We Are

Rating: 5.0

Begin where you are—
rooted in this moment, as it stands.
See clearly the shape of things,
how threads of life intertwine.
But there are layers beneath the seen,
degrees of depth unknown to the surface.

A current moves through you—
a river of quiet power,
not bound by the ordinary.
It rises like a breath of wind,
shifting the landscape within.
This is the energy of transformation,
a pulse of higher wisdom
that unravels and remakes you.

Your divine intelligence,
that silent companion long asleep,
must stir and open its eyes.
It knows the way to this current,
it recognizes the flow.

Turn inward—
draw the light back to its source,
where silence waits, whole and unbroken.
Here lies the hidden flame,
the sacred spark that whispers,
'I am the essence you seek.'

It speaks through your poems, too—
woven through the love and seeking,
threaded into every longing.
But this light cannot be claimed,
cannot be possessed like a jewel.

You cannot grasp it in your hands,
nor force it to your will.
You must become it—
let it bloom through your seeing.

To see is to dissolve the distance,
to vanish into the stream—
where the seer and the seen are one
This is the gnostic way of becoming.
