To be brave is not to feel no fear,
But to face it, and persevere.
To stand tall in the face of strife,
And to continue on with life.

It takes courage to do what's right,
Even when it's not in plain sight.
To take risks, to push ahead,
To never give up, but instead.

To be brave is to face the unknown,
To stand strong and not be thrown.
By doubt or fear or circumstance,
To have the strength to take that chance.

For bravery is not just for the few,
Who seem to have it all imbued.
It's for each and every one,
Who chooses to end what once begun.

So let us strive to be brave each day,
To never let fear stand in our way.
To take that step, to seize that chance,
And to embrace life's wild, wondrous dance.
